Black Friday 2026 Video Editing Software Deals: CapCut, DaVinci, Final Cut, Descript and More
Every Black Friday 2026 video editing software deal we could verify: DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Adobe, Descript, Filmora, BlitzCut, plus what each did last year.

Black Friday 2026 is November 27, and Cyber Monday is November 30. Video editing software deals usually start the week before, and some have already started. This page lists the deals we could confirm on official pages. For brands that haven't announced yet, it lists what they offered in 2025 so you know what to expect.
Disclosure: We make BlitzCut, which is included below with its own Black Friday offer. Every other offer was checked on October 26, 2026, against the sources linked in each section. We'll update the page as 2026 offers go live. Confirm the final price at checkout, since many offers vary by region and account.

BlitzCut
BlitzCut is a video editor for Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android built around recorded speech. It removes silences automatically, lets you edit video by editing the transcript, and adds styled captions.

| Plan | Regular US price | With code FRIENDS30 (30% off) |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly | $6.99/week | $4.89/week |
| Monthly | $16.99/month | $11.89/month |
| Yearly | $69.99/year | $48.99/year, after a 3-day free trial |
Enter FRIENDS30 at checkout on the pricing page for 30% off any plan. The offer runs November 1–30, 2026, and one web subscription works on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Android. Regional prices vary, and the checkout shows yours.
Good fit if: you record tutorials, podcasts, UGC ads, or YouTube videos and spend most of your editing time cutting pauses and adding captions. Not a fit if: you need color grading, multicam, or effects-heavy timelines. A full NLE from this list is a better buy for that.

DaVinci Resolve Studio
Blackmagic Design has DaVinci Resolve Studio at $236, down from $295, until Friday, November 20 (official offer). It's a one-time purchase that includes future updates. The sale ends a week before Black Friday, so if you're waiting for a deeper Black Friday discount, this is likely the one. Blackmagic rarely discounts Studio at all.
The free version of DaVinci Resolve covers most editing work. You mainly need Studio for higher-resolution output, some AI tools, and advanced noise reduction.

CapCut Pro
CapCut's Black Friday sale page advertises up to 60% off CapCut Pro for new and non-member users. The discount covers the first annual term and only applies in the desktop app. The same page's FAQ quotes 40%, and the page doesn't state a year. In 2025 the offer was 40% off the first month, desktop only, from November 24 to 26.
Mobile subscriptions don't qualify, and Pro renews at full price after the discounted term. Details are in our CapCut Black Friday guide.

Final Cut Pro
Apple sells Final Cut Pro for $299.99 as a one-time purchase. It's also included in Apple Creator Studio at $12.99/month or $129/year, which comes with a free trial (Apple). Apple hasn't historically put Final Cut Pro on sale for Black Friday, and no 2026 sale has been announced.
If you only need Final Cut Pro for one project, the Creator Studio trial followed by a single month can cost less than the one-time license. If you plan to keep it for years, the $299.99 license avoids the subscription.

Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe hasn't announced a 2026 offer yet. In 2025, Adobe ran 50% off Creative Cloud Pro for the first year (annual plan billed monthly) from November 13 to 28, with a deeper discount for students and teachers (9to5Toys). The Premiere Pro single-app plan wasn't part of that promotion. The discount applied to the full suite, which only pays off if you'll use more than Premiere.

Descript
No 2026 offer has been announced yet. Descript's 2025 deal was an annual plan with bonus AI credits and media minutes, announced on Cyber Monday and ending that night (Descript on X). It added usage on top of the plan rather than cutting the price.
Descript's plans are limited by media hours and AI credits, so bonus usage is only worth something if you're near your limit. See Descript pricing 2026 to work out which plan you'd actually use, and whether Descript has a lifetime deal.

Filmora
Wondershare hasn't announced a 2026 offer yet. Its official 2025 Black Friday page advertised up to 30% off in the US, but the Premium yearly plan itself was only about 10% off ($89.99, down from $99.99). Check the discount on the exact plan you want, not the headline.

Others to watch
These haven't announced 2026 offers. The 2025 figures below come from third-party deal trackers, not official pages, so treat them as rough guides.
| Tool | 2025 offer (reported) | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Camtasia | About 25% off, new purchases and renewals | Windows Report |
| Riverside | 35% off yearly plans | Jonny Elwyn |
| OpusClip | Up to 65% off annual plans | Feisworld |
How to judge a Black Friday video editor deal
- Check the price you'll pay next year. Many discounts cover only the first month or first year. A lifetime license or a one-time purchase like Resolve Studio or Final Cut Pro avoids that.
- Check the platform. CapCut's deal only works on desktop. App Store subscriptions often can't receive web-only discounts, and the reverse is also true.
- Check whether you qualify. "New subscribers only" is common. Existing Adobe and CapCut subscribers often can't take the headline offer.
- Match the tool to the job. For talking-head content, a focused editor at a lower price can beat a discounted suite you'll mostly leave unused. For a broader view, see the best video editors for Mac in 2026.
