Video Safe Zone Checker
This video safe zone checker previews your video, image, and sample captions beneath illustrative TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts interface overlays.
A planning aid, not an official platform preview. It does not alter or export your video.
1. Choose a local video or image
The selected file stays in this browser. No media upload, account, or video export. Your browser must support the file's codec.
2. Stress-test the interface
These are illustrative editorial presets, not official pixel templates. Expanded descriptions and CTA controls deliberately reduce the preview area. No compliance or visibility guarantee.
3. Position a sample caption
The check measures only this sample text box. It does not detect faces, logos, or captions already burned into your file.

- Choose a local recording or image, or start with the sample caption.
- Switch between platform overlays and test a longer description or extra CTA.
- Move the sample text, adjust its width and size, and check the complete box.
- Repeat in the actual destination app before publishing, especially for paid ads.
Why these overlays are illustrative
A fixed screenshot cannot represent every device, app release, description length, or ad format. TikTok documents that its safe-zone requirements vary with captions and added formats. Meta provides its own Reels safe-zone resources, while Google offers Shorts ad previews. Use those current placement-specific resources for ad delivery.
The green guide here is an editorial buffer. The automatic check only measures the sample caption box against that buffer. It does not detect or certify the text already in your video.
Keep checking placement in BlitzCut

Can I check captions already in my file?
You can inspect them visually under the overlays. Automatic bounding-box feedback applies only to the sample caption you type here.
Can I export a captioned video?
This tool only previews placement. Use a video editor to change existing captions and export the finished recording.
